When he returns home, Stuart goes into cardiac arrest as the replacement baby sitter calls to inform him she is remaining in Mexico a little longer. Desperate for help with the toddler, Stuart turns to Kim. As Stuart and Kim watch Bree, that spark that did not quite ignite a few years ago now turns into a raging fire. Now if they can only commit to a permanent relationship after the matchmaking infant returns to his mommy.
Though it is difficult to accept how helpless Stuart is with his niece, readers need to move on if they want to enjoy an engaging contemporary romance. Kim is a wonderful lead character while the audience will salivate and scorn Stuart. Kristine Rolofson opens up the year long Cooper's Corner series with a fun novel that raises a high bar for Vicki Lewis Thompson to match or exceed in the June edition.
