THE EROTIC SECRETS OF A FRENCH MAID
Lisa Cach
Pocket, Mar 2007, $13.00
ISBN: 1416513302

In Seattle, Emma Mayson finds life after college not easy and very expensive as she is unable to find work in her architectural field. Needing to pay her bills including her student loan and eat, Emma finds work cleaning houses.

Her employment introduces the impoverished wannabe architect to handsome successful Russell Carrick, CEO of TrackingTech, a firm that develops software to track inventory. He seems to her as being all work and no fun except for ice hockey; but he plays that for exercise at least that is what he insists. Desiring her and unable to accept the beautiful female cleaning his underwear or even making his bed, he offers her a different role. Attracted to Russell and seeing a chance to make more money faster, Emma accepts changing from duster buster to mistress for one year. However, she makes the worst mistake a kept woman of pleasure can make: she falls in love with Russell, who she assumes sees her as a one year sex partner just as in their original agreement.

This is a fun lighthearted contemporary romance starring two likable protagonists whose affair turns into much more, but both fears revealing their vulnerability to the other. Readers will enjoy Lisa Cach's delightful tale of the American French maid and her computer nerd finding love in the northwest.
